The Philadelphia International Children’s Festival is April 27 through May 1, 2010 at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (on campus). This festival, the first of its kind in the United States, presents live theatre, dance, and music created just for kids - ages four through eleven - in the three theatres at the Center. This year’s programming is eclectic as ever: theatre with puppetry from Scotland, urban dance and the history of the African American experience in song. On Saturday, a $25 Fun Pass will buy you three shows, access to the Children's Festival FUN ZONE on the outdoor plaza, and a free lunch. It's the best way to enjoy the Philadelphia International Children's Festival and introduce your younger children to Penn!
